Adult males collected

Of 6 adult males, 4 of 6 (67%) fall in the six wettest months, and 3 of 6 (50%) in the six warmest. Collections peak in December.

Mean monthly rainfall and temperature 2001–2020 near the type locality, 800 m. MERRA-2 via NASA POWER, for a grid cell averaging 947 m. Northern hemisphere seasons.

Etymology

The name is in honour of Dr Petros Lymberakis, curatotor of vertebrates at the Natural History Museum of Crete, Greece and main collector of the Chaetopelma material.
