Type Locality: CHINA: Rongshuwang, Nabang Town, Yingjiang County, Dehong Dai and Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan, 914 m

Collection months of 2 adult male specimen records, against the rainfall where they live
Mean monthly rainfall and temperature 2001–2020 near where these males were collected, China. MERRA-2 via NASA POWER, for a grid cell averaging 486 m. Northern hemisphere seasons.
Etymology
A noun in the genitive for Danniella Sherwood, who supplied photographs of the types of other Indochinese Chilobrachys — the comparisons that let the authors recognise the species as new.
