Original Description

Adult males collected

Mean monthly rainfall and temperature 2001–2020 near where these males were collected, Guinea. MERRA-2 via NASA POWER, for a grid cell averaging 409 m. Wet and dry seasons, from the rainfall at the locality itself.

Etymology

The specific epithet is an eponym honouring the late Stefan Foord (1971-2023), in recognition of his significant contributions to African arachnology, and in remembrance of his kind and collaborative spirit.
