Mean monthly rainfall and temperature 2001–2020 near the type locality, Puno, Carabaya, Corani; 4360 m a.s.l.. MERRA-2 via NASA POWER. Wet and dry seasons, from the rainfall at the locality itself.
Etymology
Named in honour and in loving memory of Ignacio Enrique Quispe-Escobedo, father of the first author, with whom he spoke a great deal about the discovery of this species.
Specimen Records (6)
Holotype male of Kiskalla ignacioi. Found under a stone with no apparent retreat. Total length 11.8 mm. Source of the palpal bulb and tibial apophysis figures, and photographed alive in the field.
Paratype female of Kiskalla ignacioi, same locality and date as the holotype. Found under a stone inside a burrow without discernible webbing. Total length 19.10 mm; source of the female description and of the spermathecae figure.
Paratype male of Kiskalla ignacioi. Differs slightly from the holotype in the cymbial projection, the tegular projection and the serration of the subapical keel; figured separately for that reason.
Two paratype females of Kiskalla ignacioi, same data as the paratype male MUBI 313.
