Etymology

From the Quechua zuku, "grey-haired", and apasanka, the local name for a tarantula: for the greyish setae, and for what the communities there already call these spiders.

Holotype female of Kiskalla zukuapasanka. Total length 10.49 mm, the smallest of the three species. Photographed alive on the rock where she was found. The same lot number also holds two further non-type females.
