Adult males collected

Mean monthly rainfall and temperature 2001–2020 near the type locality, 1714 m. MERRA-2 via NASA POWER. Wet and dry seasons, from the rainfall at the locality itself.

Etymology

A patronym honouring Danniella Sherwood, one of the world authorities on tarantula taxonomy, who has described 94 new species and 19 new genera of spiders since 2018 and whose support the first author records as formative.
