Three males of Thrixopelma ockerti, confiscated from the illegal pet trade and used for the first redescription of the male, including the first analysis of the palpal bulb keels. No collector recorded. Note: Fig. 1C-D of the paper labels this specimen "holotype male", but the text treats it as a non-type — T. ockerti was described from two female exuviae and no holotype was ever designated.
