A new species of the genus Selenocosmia Ausserer, 1871 (Araneae: Theraphosidae) from the karst landscapes of Meghalaya, India

Abstract
Selenocosmia meghalayensis sp. nov. is described from three females collected in the East Khasi Hills and South Garo Hills of Meghalaya, northeastern India. It is the third Selenocosmia known from India and the only one described from females; the other two, S. sutherlandi and S. kulluensis, are known from males alone.
