LXII. On two spiders of the genus Selenocosmia

Hirst, A. S. (1907). Annals and Magazine of Natural History (7) 19 (114): 522-524.

Abstract

Original description of Selenocosmia stalkeri Hirst, 1907, from material collected by Wilfred Stalker at Alexandria Station, Northern Territory, Australia. The species is illustrated on p. 523 (Fig. 1), whose distinctive lyra pattern was later used by Briggs, Foley & Cook (2024) to remove it from synonymy with S. stirlingi.
