Abstract

Nhandu chromatus Schmidt, 2004 stat. rest. is redescribed based on the holotype male and new non-type female material, with its generic position discussed. Nhandu sylviae Sherwood, Gabriel & Brescovit, 2023 stat. rest. is restored, reversing its synonymy with Vitalius sorocabae (Mello-Leitão, 1923).
