Included in the morphometric analysis of Marquezin-Gomes et al. (2026), which found no measurable shape or size character separating Lasiodora species from Lasiocyano sazimai. The genera remain distinguishable only on stridulatory setae, present here on coxae I–II, and on colour.
The male figured as Lasiodora klugi by Pérez-Miles et al. (1996, fig. 27) belongs to this species (Bertani, 2023).
