Abstract

Five new theraphosine species are described from Ecuador: Homoeomma josti sp. nov., Romopelma chirapa sp. nov., and three species of the new genus Yunka gen. nov. (Y. suenos sp. nov., Y. guasaganda sp. nov., Y. baboso sp. nov.). The female of Romopelma barrigae Peñaherrera-R et al., 2024, the type species of that genus, is described for the first time.
